Model Image Use & Removal Policy

I work with both amateur and professional models, and in every case I obtain consent—often written—regarding the creation and use of images, including publication online.

However, I recognise that consent is given at a particular moment in time. People’s circumstances, careers, relationships, and personal boundaries can change. The way individuals wish to present themselves—especially in relation to nude or intimate imagery—can also evolve. In addition, the online environment itself has changed significantly in recent years.

For these reasons, I take a position that goes beyond my legal rights as a photographer.

If you have modelled for me in the past and would like an image removed from public view, I will honour that request—no questions asked.

This applies in particular (though not exclusively) to older work and to content not hidden behind paywalls. If you are no longer comfortable with images being displayed online, you only need to contact me and I will remove them from publicly accessible platforms as promptly as possible.

This policy reflects my respect for the ongoing autonomy and personal agency of the people I have worked with. While I retain copyright in the images and the legal right to publish them within the terms originally agreed, I prioritise the model’s current wishes where these come into conflict.

How to request removal:
Please contact me via a method that allows me to authenticate your identity (Purpleport or Adultfolio are ideal, Instagram and Flickr are acceptable). As a last resort you could send an email message to vulpeslumin@gmail.com. No explanation is required.
